In 1998 Shimano released only 6000 of these 25th Anniversary sets world wide. First introduced in 1973, the Shimano Dura-Ace component group has been used by professional cyclists and road racing enthusiasts ever since. The Anniversary components are based on the 1999 Dura-Ace 7700 series components, but there are significant differences. Component surfaces have been hand polished to a mirror like finish and more titanium hardware is used throughout the group. Each component is also identified with a special 25th Anniversary emblem. Packaged in a handsome aluminum presentation case.

The Campagnolo 50th Anniversary Grouppo, made in 1983. It's a set of components similar to the Super Record group but featuring gold accents along with the distinctive Campagnolo script logo. Only 15,000 sets were manufactured, each numbered. The Campagnolo family is in possession of set No. 1, and set No. 2 is in the possession of the Vatican, having been presented to Pope John Paul II.
Cranks are 172.5mm length. Seat Post is: 27.2. The hubs are 36 hole. Toe Clips are: medium. The Front Derailleur is Clip-On. The Threading is English.
