We are proud to announce that
Mel Pinto Imports is now under new management. This new site is still
very much a work in progress, so please bear with us while we continue
to build-on and refine our work here.
In the coming weeks, we hope to have the site better organized so that
you can more easily search for the products you are interested in, and
have pricing, pictures, quantity and detail information readily available.
We will also be able to provide dealer log-in credentials to our existing
dealers, and accept new dealer applications, so that all dealers can
access prices. Right now though, there is still much work to do,
so what you see is just the beginning. There are obviously lots
of "holes" in the product information, so the site is not yet a
comprehensive representation of how the site will eventually look and
work.
For now, dealers will not be
able to pay on-line when placing orders. Instead, you will be
generating a purchase order request. For existing dealers, we
will then process your request, and invoice you with your shipment.
Existing dealers can still benefit from our net-30 payment policy.
New dealers will be required to pre-pay on first orders. Eventually,
of course, we will have on-line payment capability. Please call
for more details.
Due to the extensive and esoteric
nature of our inventory, particularly with regard to our old stock,
small parts and rare/unusual items, it’s highly unlikely that everything
we have will actually be represented on this site, at least not in the
near future. We are still very much in "discovery" ourselves,
so it will probably be some time before we get all items identified,
quantified and priced. We urge you to contact us, either by phone
or email, if you have particular needs and/or requirements.
At Mel Pinto Imports, our goal
is to provide the same great quality products and service that you have
come to expect from MPI. We still like to talk with our customers,
and hope to never lose that personal touch that makes MPI unique.

Pinto and MPI more than 50 years ago, but also want to make whatever
